Yes Echinoderms do have a nervous system. Echinoderms generally have a complex and poorly developed nervous system. They are sensitive to touch and to changes in light intensity, temperature, orientation, and the surrounding water. Their nervous system consists of a nerve plexus (interconnected neurons with no central brain), which lies within and below the skin.
