Answer 1:
Sugar Rush was developed by Klei Entertainment and produced by Nexon's Vancouver development studio, Humanature Studio. Unfortunately, early in the recession, Nexon closed Humanature Studio, thus leaving Sugar Rush without a producing office. Klei and Nexon did work together for a while after that trying to get Sugar Rush back on its feet. But after a while a big company like Nexon can say that enough was enough and they do not see certain games in the future. Nexon did just this. They announced that they were closing the website for Sugar Rush and returning publishing rights to Klei Entertainment. I think Klei remained committed to Sugar Rush for a while after, even though it wasn't in active development, but they eventually decided that it was best to cancel the project.
